Tour program
– Introduction to the idea of permaculture and organic farming principles at Taino Farm
– Visit to our vegetable and herb garden
– Tour of our worm houses
– Insights into our tree nursery and plant breeding station
– Detailed explanation and visit to our aquaponics system with its fish farm and greenhouses
– Discovery tour through our tropical fruit forest.
Smell, touch and taste a wide variety of fruits such as jackfruit, cocoa, carambola, dragon fruit and zapote
– Approx. 1.5 hours of relaxed floating in our tubes on the Rio Yassica and swimming in the river. Beforehand, short stop at our village colmado incl. a free drink.
– Rich “farm to table” lunch, with various fruits and vegetables directly from the farm.

Tours take place on Tuesdays and Saturdays, starting at 9:30 am and ending at around 1:00 pm. Other times are only possible by prior arrangement.
Please bring swimwear, sunscreen and waterproof shoes for the river float.
Children under 6 years and those who cannot swim need a life jacket!
Lunch is usually vegetarian, vegan or other individual options by arrangement.
